Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio and she continued her love of performing on stage. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television parts. In 1992, Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad's story is usually determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
